I don’t know why I put off seeing this movie but I finally saw it last night. I kind of grew up watching Westerns as a kid with my dad and I really do like them. The movie itself is really good and worth talking about; however, when you couple it with the issues my wife and I are having with her folks that live nearby, it made it even better and it made me miss my dad.

There are not many stories in existence that I like more than the story of a regular guy with exceptional integrity becoming a hero in the eyes of his son. That was really all 3:10 to Yuma was about. It made me really glad that I grew up in the household that I did.
